You can access dictionaries, explanations and characters with the Smart Lookup without losing the place where you stopped reading. You can share the books with your family through the Amazon account and on your Kindle books. You can share it with friends on Goodreads. Some of the features of Goodreads are available when the Wi-Fi is on. Features like the time it will take to finish reading the book, you can explore the book to keep track of what happened in the book, you can tap on a word to get its definition and explanation. You can read without any disturbance there are no notifications and alerts.

 That’s not all Whispersync technology allows the individual to start reading where you left off. There is no blue light emitted from the backlight and hence it does not disturb your sleep pattern.

You can export notes and highlights from a book via email; they can be easily available for reference. Notes are available as print form, pdf  and as a spreadsheet.
